A HUGE SUCCESS!!!!

Yes, tonight was our first meeting for the year and we had an amazing turnout! I know our entire steering team is pumped for the rest of the year. We had a beautiful display of carnival food...some precious table centerpieces and lots of hard work from each of the steering team members. Thank you all for attending, for helping and for praying for this group to be a success! It is apparent that the Lord is guiding us in his will. What an amazing ministry to be a part of! I hope we will continue to have great attendance at our meetings, lots of fun and relaxing time together, and grown and learn from each other. Thank you all and see you next month!

MOPS at FUMC is underway!

How exciting that a few great minds got together and initiated the beginning of a new MOPS group in Milledgeville. This group will be meeting during the evenings and is open to all mothers of preschoolers (well up to 3rd grade actually :-) ). I am Kyle, and I am a part of the steering team that is getting this group started. We have had a few meetings and are ready to get our 2008-2009 MOPS meetings underway. Our next meeting, on September 3rd, we will decide on the actual date for our first, hopefully September, meeting for MOPS. The date and time will be announced here. We all hope this will be a great tool to share our experiences and meetings and encourage others to join in our time of fellowship together.
